How do you change the headlight bulb in a 2004 Subaru Impreza?

My passenger headlight burned out and I would like to replace the bulb myself.

Does anyone have a link to instructions on how to replace the headlight bulbs? Do I need to remove any major body panels to access the bulbs? What kind of headlight bulbs does the 2004 Impreza take? How do you change the headlight bulb in a 2004 Subaru Impreza?Remove whatever parts will allow you access to the rear of the headlight housings. There is usually a retaining ring that needs to be turned to allow the bulbs to be removed from the housings.

When installing the new bulbs, be sure not to touch the glass. Any skin oil or contaminants on the glass will cause it to overheat and render the bulb defective. How do you change the headlight bulb in a 2004 Subaru Impreza? It's that simple!

Opened up the hood. Pull the headlight cable of the burned out bulb. Remove the rubber covering. Then press the clip that holds the bulb and pull it out. Replace with new bulb. Assemble back accordingly, but remember not to touch the glass with bare hand. BTW have it replace with H 12V - 55W/60W bulb. There you are!
